Rapper DDG has shared a rather unconventional take on reality television viewing habits, specifically targeting male fans of the hit dating show Love Island.
During a recent livestream, the artist revealed that he is currently abstaining from tuning into the popular series, citing his single status as the primary reason. Expressing nostalgia for the perks of being in a relationship, he explained to his viewers, "I haven't watched 'Love Island.' You know why? Cuz I don't have anybody to watch it with."
However, DDG didn't stop at just sharing his personal viewing preferences. He went on to make a sweeping generalization about men who watch the show without a partner.
"I think it's gay to watch 'Love Island' by yourself. If you're a [man] and you're watching 'Love Island' solo, you might be bisexual."
When elaborating on the logic behind his bold claim, the rapper justified his stance by comparing the steamy reality dating competition to adult entertainment, describing the broadcast as "damn-near, like, soft p-o-r-n."
