Rapper Desiigner was arrested last month in South Carolina on domestic violence charges, and newly released audio reveals a frantic 911 call made during the incident.
In the call, obtained by TMZ, the artist—legally named Sidney Royel Selby III—can be heard breathing heavily and pleading for assistance. He initially seems unaware the dispatcher has answered, yelling at a woman in the background and accusing her of attempting to steal his car.
"This girl trying to steal my car. She's trying to do grand theft auto on my car," Desiigner tells the operator after acknowledging the call.
The audio captures escalating distress, with Desiigner repeatedly begging for help and stating, "She has my son, I need my son." During the exchange, he directs the woman to "kill herself" and later claims to the dispatcher that he is feeling suicidal.
Desiigner describes obtaining an Airsoft gun "just to have one" amid the conflict, rambles about "somebody put something bad in my weed," and alleges the woman "bothers him every day." He insists he has "receipts" from home surveillance cameras.
When asked his location, he says he "drove off" to distance himself, cooperates by describing his vehicle as a black SUV, but cannot recall the license plate. He tells the dispatcher he is driving to Las Vegas before becoming unresponsive to further questions.
The call underscores the chaotic circumstances leading to his arrest, highlighting a volatile situation that culminated in legal action.
