Body camera footage has revealed rapper T.I. arriving at a Georgia traffic stop where his son, King Harris, was arrested early Sunday morning. The incident unfolded when Gwinnett County police pulled over Harris for allegedly driving over 75 mph in a 45 mph zone while behind the wheel of a Cybertruck.
According to the footage, Harris—wearing a Pikachu onesie—initially told officers he was unaware of speeding. When police requested he exit the vehicle, citing concerns about a firearm inside, Harris repeatedly refused to comply. After multiple attempts and calls to his attorney, officers arrested him for willful obstruction of law enforcement.
Police used Harris’s phone to contact someone to retrieve the car and firearm from the scene. Shortly after, T.I. arrived and asked officers if they could resolve the matter on-site, but they declined.
Harris was booked on a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor for obstruction, and received traffic citations for speeding and a seatbelt violation. The body cam video captures the tense exchange as T.I., known for hits like “Whatever You Like,” attempted to intervene without success.
