The Red Cross has warned that it could take up to a year to bring the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo under control.
On Friday, a group of healthcare workers sang songs of praise as they accompanied a recovered patient out of a hospital in the northeastern part of the country. The patient had successfully battled the disease.
According to the latest figures, more than 780 people have been infected with Ebola in the region, and over 180 have died.
The outbreak continues to pose a significant challenge to health authorities, with efforts focused on containment and treatment.
