Actress Rhian Ramos has shared how she drew from her own experiences of pain and trauma to portray the character Mitena in the hit fantasy series "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." In a recent interview, Ramos revealed that playing the role allowed her to confront and process deep-seated emotions, making the performance deeply personal.
"Mitena's journey is one of struggle and healing, and I found parts of myself in her story," Ramos said. "There were moments on set where I felt the character's pain mirror my own, and it was both challenging and cathartic."
The series, a spin-off of the original "Encantadia" franchise, follows a new generation of characters navigating magical realms and personal conflicts. For Ramos, immersing herself in Mitena's world became a form of therapy, helping her heal from past wounds.
