A transport network vehicle service (TNVS) driver has announced plans to file charges against a National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) employee who allegedly threatened him with a gun. The incident, which took place in Quezon City, has sparked outrage and raised concerns about road rage and abuse of authority.

According to a police report, the NAPOLCOM employee, identified as [name withheld pending investigation], was arrested following the alleged threat. The driver, who requested anonymity for safety reasons, stated that the employee pointed a gun at him during a heated altercation over a traffic dispute.

"I was simply doing my job when this person suddenly brandished a firearm and threatened my life," the driver said. "I want to press charges to ensure that justice is served and to send a message that such behavior will not be tolerated."

The suspect is currently in police custody and faces charges for illegal possession of firearms and grave threats. NAPOLCOM officials have condemned the incident and promised a thorough investigation.

"We do not condone any form of misconduct by our personnel," a NAPOLCOM spokesperson said. "If found guilty, the employee will face the full force of the law, including administrative sanctions."

The driver's legal counsel confirmed that they are preparing the necessary documents for the filing of charges. The case has drawn attention to the need for stricter regulation of firearm ownership and conduct among government employees.
