Roblox's daily active user count has dropped significantly, falling to 132 million in the first quarter of 2026 — a decline of 20 million from the 152 million reported in Q3 2025. The company attributes the slowdown primarily to its implementation of age-check features, which have hindered new user acquisition.
According to Roblox's latest earnings report, the platform had 132 million daily active users globally at the end of Q1 2026, down from 144 million in Q4 2025. In the US and Canada, active users decreased by one million quarter-over-quarter. Despite the user drop, Roblox's revenue grew to $1.4 billion.
The company stated that Q1 growth was "tempered by greater-than-expected headwinds" from the age-check rollout, which "slowed new user acquisition." Additionally, Russia's ban on the platform in December 2025 contributed to the decline.
