A growing rodent infestation is sweeping through displacement camps in Gaza, creating hazardous living conditions for thousands of displaced families, according to reports from Al Jazeera correspondent Tareq Abu Azzoum.
"The situation in these camps has become increasingly dire as rats multiply rapidly in the cramped, unsanitary environments," Abu Azzoum noted in his dispatch.
The proliferation of rodents poses significant health risks to already vulnerable populations, with limited access to proper sanitation and medical care exacerbating the crisis.
