Rosie O'Donnell recently found humor in a fabricated online rumor suggesting she would join the cast of Dancing With the Stars. The comedian shared an AI-generated promotional image on Instagram, depicting her in a sequined dress mid-dance move, with a caption that read, "This made me laugh—reminds me to never get a perm. Completely untrue but funny."

No official casting announcements have been made for the upcoming 35th season of the competition series. While she won't be hitting the ballroom, O'Donnell has been busy with significant family events. After moving to Ireland last year, she made a quiet two-week trip back to the United States in February to visit her children, marking her first return in over a year.

"I just went to see my family," O'Donnell explained during a SiriusXM interview. "I wanted to see how hard it would be for me to get in and out of the country. I wanted to feel what it felt like. I wanted to hold my children again."

The visit coincided with a joyful family expansion. Her son Blake and his wife Teresa recently welcomed their first child, a son named Anthony Joel O'Donnell. O'Donnell expressed her excitement on social media, writing, "My heart burst open," and later shared, "Best day ever—met my grandson Anthony. Truly a beautiful child."

O'Donnell plans to spend the summer in the U.S. to spend quality time with her new grandson and her family.
