Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and onetime personal attorney to President Donald Trump, has been hospitalized in critical condition, according to a statement from his spokesperson on Sunday.
Ted Goodman announced on X that Giuliani is in critical but stable condition at a Florida medical center. Goodman described Giuliani as a fighter who has faced life's challenges with strength and asked for prayers. No details were provided about the cause of his hospitalization.
This marks the second time Giuliani has been hospitalized in recent months; he was previously admitted after a serious car crash in September 2025.
President Donald Trump weighed in on social media, calling Giuliani a "True Warrior" and the "Best Mayor in New York City." Trump also repeated unsubstantiated claims about the 2020 election, asserting that Giuliani was right but vilified by the "Radical Left."
Giuliani, 81, served as Trump's lawyer from 2018 until he was disbarred in 2024. The story is still developing.
