Northampton Saints annihilated Bristol Bears 94-33 at Franklin's Gardens, crossing for 14 tries in a record-breaking Premiership clash that secured their playoff spot. George Hendy starred with four tries as the Saints ran riot, scoring nine first-half tries to lead 61-14 at the break.

Bristol, who conceded the most points in their history, fought back with five tries of their own—including efforts from Harry Thacker, Louis Rees-Zammit, Harry Randall, and others—but the damage was done. The combined 127 points set a new record for the highest-scoring game in English top-flight rugby union, surpassing Richmond's 106-12 win over Bedford in 1999.

Saints boss Phil Dowson praised his side's response after last weekend's heavy defeat, saying, "We needed to show our character and we did that emphatically." Henry Pollock, Rory Hutchinson, and Tom Pearson also crossed as Northampton racked up their biggest win of the season.

The result leaves Bristol four points adrift of fourth-placed Exeter in the playoff race, while the Saints need six more points from their final two games to secure a home semi-final.
