During the podcast, Savannah's father, Todd Chrisley, joined the conversation, expressing his initial unfamiliarity with the procedure. He admitted, "I just never heard of such a system," adding humorously, "because, you know, when I was growing up, you screwed and got pregnant and I had no problem with it." Despite his initial hesitation, Todd has been actively involved, frequently checking in on Savannah during her appointments.
Savannah, 28, who has been public about her struggles with endometriosis since being diagnosed at age 18, shared that her health journey influenced this decision. She previously mentioned in a 2020 interview, "I always thought I'd be a young mom, so we definitely do go in and do the talks of potentially freezing my eggs and just all the different options that there are."
Todd also recounted a light-hearted moment of empathy, joking that he felt sympathetic symptoms when Savannah experienced abdominal pains. "You told me that you had a cyst on one of your ovaries and I feel like I have one on my testicle because you said you were having abdominal pains and I felt it the night before," he said.
Savannah emphasized that her parents have been supportive overall, with Todd even insisting on being part of every step. "He's calling me during my first appointment yesterday," she noted, describing how the ultrasound technician, a fan of the family, commented on his frequent calls.
