The cult classic Simpsons: Hit & Run game might be returning in some form, according to a slip-up by Matt Groening at D23.
The original game was released in 2003 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Windows. Although it's possible to play the game on modern computers, it's not available on modern consoles, making an HD remaster long overdue.
When asked about a potential sequel, Groening replied, 'I think the original game is coming back in some form,' before current showrunner Matt Selman added, 'or not.' The tone and body language of both suggest that Groening may have revealed something he wasn't supposed to.
