A violent stabbing spree at Manhattan's Penn Station on Sunday night left six people injured, with the attack occurring just steps from where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to marry next month, police said.
The assailant, now in custody, slashed six victims inside the Amtrak terminal around 9 p.m. for reasons still unknown. All victims were taken to local hospitals; their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The incident has heightened security concerns ahead of Swift and Kelce's July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, which is directly connected to Penn Station. Sources say more than 1,000 guests are expected for the high-profile event.
Adding to the security spotlight, the New York Knicks are hosting the San Antonio Spurs at MSG this week for Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals, with President Trump reportedly planning to attend.
Police have not released the suspect's identity or a possible motive. The investigation is ongoing.
