The digital drama between prominent content creators has escalated, with Alex Cooper now publicly confronting Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia in the latest chapter of an ongoing feud that began with Alix Earle.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted on April 15, the Call Her Daddy podcast host directly addressed LaPaglia, accusing her of perpetuating a false narrative about Cooper being a "mean girl." Cooper emphasized that the two had never met in person and shared alleged screenshots of their direct messages to support her claims.
"This girl-on-girl nonsense needs to stop," Cooper wrote. "While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry, who is adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile."
The screenshots Cooper shared reportedly showed cordial exchanges between the two, including discussions about Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and LaPaglia's ex Zach Bryan. In one message from 2024, Cooper appeared to offer support after LaPaglia's public breakup, writing: "I’m so sorry you went through that. Thank you for speaking on it, it’s gonna make a difference."
Cooper doubled down in a separate post, stating: "I never invited you on Call Her Daddy. Back during the Zach Bryan situation, I sent you a message of support. We never spoke negatively of you. Nothing negative happened during that time between Unwell, myself or you."
LaPaglia quickly responded with a TikTok video posted approximately an hour later, directly challenging Cooper's version of events.
"OK, Alex Cooper just made a TikTok about me saying that she's not a mean girl, because we had nice DMs back when—before I found out everything about this girl," LaPaglia stated in her video.
She claimed to have been a fan of Cooper before learning about her alleged behavior toward others. "I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people," LaPaglia asserted.
LaPaglia also revealed her connection to Alix Earle, stating that the Dancing With the Stars alum had confided in her about past interactions with Cooper. "From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person," she claimed. "Yeah, maybe my narrative switched on you after I found things out about you. I used to be a fan. Clearly, I’m not anymore."
In her concluding remarks, LaPaglia labeled Cooper's recent video as "Mean Girl 101" and called on Earle to publicly share her side of the story.
The public dispute represents the latest development in tensions that began when Cooper previously challenged Earle to address their rumored feud directly. As the social media confrontation continues to unfold, representatives for both Cooper and Earle have not responded to requests for comment.
