Spotify, the streaming giant known for music, podcasts, and audiobooks, is officially entering the fitness arena. The company has announced a partnership with Peloton, bringing over 1,400 workout classes to its Premium subscribers. Alongside Peloton content, Spotify will also feature curated exercise playlists and classes from popular creators like Yoga with Kassandra, Chloe Ting, and Sweaty Studio.

The move expands Spotify's offerings into health and wellness, a natural fit given the popularity of workout-themed playlists on the platform. Premium users will get access to Peloton's library of guided workouts, which includes strength training, yoga, running, and more.

"This is about meeting our users where they are—whether they're lifting weights, stretching, or just finding a rhythm for a run," a Spotify spokesperson said. The company has previously experimented with running-focused playlists, but this partnership marks its most serious foray into structured fitness content.

While Spotify faces stiff competition from dedicated fitness platforms like Apple Fitness+, the partnership gives it an edge by leveraging Peloton's established brand and content library. For Peloton, the deal opens a new audience of Spotify's 500 million-plus users.

The integration is expected to roll out later this year, with select Peloton classes available directly within the Spotify app. The move underscores Spotify's ambition to become an all-encompassing audio and lifestyle platform.
