Anne Hathaway playfully exposed her co-star Stanley Tucci as the biggest prima donna during the filming of The Devil Wears Prada 2, citing his meticulous attention to wardrobe as the key reason.
During an April 15 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Hathaway was asked to name the set's biggest diva. Without hesitation, she pointed to Tucci, who is reprising his role as Nigel Kipling. "He's just so fussy about his clothes," she joked, highlighting his particular nature.
The playful ribbing didn't stop there. Hathaway revealed another lighthearted grievance: despite Tucci's renowned culinary expertise and best-selling cookbook, he has never cooked a meal for her. "That b---h has not made me a morsel," she quipped, adding that despite dropping numerous hints about wanting to try his dishes, she has "not yet received a crumb."
Beyond the jest, Hathaway expressed genuine excitement about reuniting with the original cast—including Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt—for the sequel, two decades after the first film's release. "It felt so special when we were making it," she shared, noting that she never expected the core team to come together again for a follow-up. Stanley Tucci echoed the sentiment, admitting, "I've never had this experience in 45 years of show business."
The cast has been promoting the film with a global press tour, showcasing stylish ensembles at events in Mexico City and Tokyo, further building anticipation for the long-awaited sequel.
