Strangers sacrifice personal records to carry struggling runner across Boston Marathon finish line

In a heartwarming display of sportsmanship, two runners gave up their own race times to help an exhausted competitor finish the Boston Marathon.

Aaron Beggs was the first to stop when he saw Ajay Haridasse collapse to the ground, unable to get up. Moments later, Robson De Oliveira joined in, and together they draped Haridasse's arms over their shoulders, half-carrying him the final stretch.

The dramatic rescue unfolded just after the 26-mile mark, captured on video by spectators who watched Haridasse stumble and fall. Despite his exhaustion, the trio pressed on, crossing the finish line as a group.

"Greatest feeling ever," Beggs later said of the moment.

Haridasse, overwhelmed by the gesture, expressed his gratitude to the two men who put his well-being ahead of their own race ambitions.
