PlayStation has announced that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will receive a free downloadable content (DLC) update next month, coinciding with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July. The surprise expansion promises to bring fresh content to the acclaimed superhero title, offering players new missions, suits, and story elements inspired by the Brand New Day comic storyline.
"We're thrilled to celebrate the launch of Spider-Man: Brand New Day with a special update for our game," said a PlayStation spokesperson.
The DLC will be available at no additional cost to all existing owners of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Further details, including a specific release date and a full list of new features, are expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
