After German leaders voiced concerns, Sweden's Prime Minister has now stated that the United States does not have a concrete strategy regarding Iran. The comment adds to growing European skepticism about Washington's approach to Tehran.
The Swedish PM's remarks came during a press conference, where he noted that the US appears to be without a clear, coherent plan for dealing with Iran. This follows similar statements from German officials, who have also criticized the lack of a defined American policy.
"We see no solid US strategy toward Iran," the Swedish Prime Minister said. "It is concerning for European allies who seek a unified approach."
The statement highlights a rift between the US and some European allies over how to handle Iran's nuclear program and regional activities. While the US has emphasized maximum pressure, European nations have pushed for diplomatic engagement.
