A new AI-driven weather prediction system, Cloud-Prediction, has been developed by a computer engineering team at Srinakharinwirot University (SWU). The system leverages agentic artificial intelligence to analyze cloud patterns and deliver accurate weather forecasts.

The project was created by the Computational Intelligence Research Lab (CIRL) under the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, SWU.

Cloud-Prediction uses advanced machine learning and fuzzy logic techniques to interpret atmospheric data, making it a potential tool for improving localized weather predictions. The system is designed to operate autonomously, adapting to changing conditions in real time.

Presented as part of a student project, the work highlights SWU's focus on applied AI in fields such as knowledge engineering, data engineering, and software development. The team's research contributes to the growing field of AI agents for environmental monitoring.
