In a significant legal victory, Taylor Frankie Paul has secured an expanded parenting arrangement with her ex-partner Dakota Mortensen over their 2-year-old son, Ever. During a court hearing on Monday, a judge eliminated the requirement for supervised visits, granting Paul unsupervised parenting time.
The new schedule allows Paul to have her son one designated day each week and on alternating weekends, while Mortensen remains the primary custodial parent and retains holiday custody. The judge also ordered both parents to refrain from publicly disparaging each other, including on social media.
The ruling follows months of heated legal battles between the former couple. Earlier this year, their custody dispute escalated amid separate domestic incidents that led to mutual protective orders, which remain in effect for three years. Paul had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated assault over a 2023 altercation captured on video.
This outcome comes shortly after Paul shared a heartfelt post about missing her son, signaling her determination to strengthen their bond.
