Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about struggling with body image while fighting Stage 4 cancer, revealing she even asked her doctor for weight-loss medication during treatment.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum shared on her "Two Ts In A Pod" podcast that after gaining weight from steroid use, she inquired about GLP-1s but was turned down by her doctor.
Keeping the tone light, Mellencamp joked about the conflicting advice, saying, "You tell me to live my best life ... but where are my GLP-1s?"
It's been a difficult few years for Mellencamp. She was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2022 and underwent surgery for Stage 2 cancer. Since then, she's had multiple surgeries, including an emergency procedure earlier this year after the cancer spread to her brain. She later revealed it had also metastasized to her lungs.
Despite the setbacks, Mellencamp continues to share her journey with humor and honesty.
