Mercedes teenager Andrea Antonelli continues to rewrite the Formula 1 history books, claiming a commanding victory at the Canadian Grand Prix to secure his fourth straight win of the 2026 season.
Antonelli crossed the finish line more than 10 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, who notched his second podium finish of the year. The young driver's dominance was on full display as he extended his lead in the championship standings.
"It was an incredible race," Antonelli said post-race. "The car felt perfect, and every decision we made as a team was spot on. I'm thrilled to keep this momentum going."
Hamilton, despite finishing second, acknowledged the challenge posed by the Mercedes ace. "Andrea is driving at an exceptional level right now," the seven-time world champion commented. "We're working hard to close the gap, but credit where it's due."
With this victory, Antonelli becomes the youngest driver in F1 history to win four consecutive races, a record that adds to his growing list of achievements. The next stop on the calendar is the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, where he will look to extend his winning streak.
