In a recent video clip, Dr. Naeema Pasha argues that the single most important skill for working with AI is not prompt engineering, but human confidence.
According to new research cited by Dr. Pasha, individuals who feel less confident in themselves tend to trust generative AI output uncritically. Conversely, confident people are more likely to question AI, challenge its results, and ultimately derive greater value from it.
Dr. Pasha's insight arrives at a time when only one in four UK businesses offer any form of AI training. She urges organizations to invest in building their employees' confidence and critical thinking, rather than focusing solely on technical prompt-crafting skills.
"When you're confident, you question AI. You challenge it. You get more from it," says Dr. Pasha.
