Kimora Lee Simmons is facing her second divorce after estranged husband Tim Leissner filed legal paperwork to dissolve their nearly 12-year marriage.
According to court documents obtained exclusively by TMZ, the former Goldman Sachs banker initiated divorce proceedings in February, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The filing does not specify a separation date, though sources confirm the couple has been estranged since at least March 2022.
"Tim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old son, Wolfe Lee Leissner, along with spousal support," the documents reveal.
The couple married in March 2014, but their union has been shadowed by controversy. Years ago, Leissner admitted in court to fabricating divorce documents to marry Simmons while still legally married to his then-wife, Judy Chan.
This marks Simmons' second high-profile divorce, following her previous marriage to music mogul Russell Simmons.
