TNT's McCullough: Finals Series with Barangay Ginebra Will Be Remembered Forever

Even in defeat, TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson insisted that the PBA Governors' Cup Finals against Barangay Ginebra will be a series that fans will talk about for years to come.

"This series, it's going to be talked about forever," Hollis-Jefferson, known by his local name McCullough, said after TNT fell to Ginebra in a thrilling seven-game championship showdown.

The hard-fought battle, which went the distance, saw Ginebra ultimately emerge victorious. But McCullough emphasized that the competitiveness and drama on display made it a classic.

"Both teams left everything on the floor. It was a war every game. That's what the PBA is all about—passion, heart, and never giving up. I'm proud of my teammates," he added.

McCullough, who led TNT with multiple double-doubles throughout the series, acknowledged the disappointment of losing but took pride in the fight they showed.

"We wanted that trophy bad, but sometimes you have to tip your hat to the other team. Ginebra played great. But the way we battled—I think the fans saw something special," he said.

TNT head coach Jojo Lastimosa also praised his team's resilience, noting that they pushed the defending champions to their limits.

The series drew massive crowds and record viewership, highlighting the enduring popularity of the PBA.
