Wondering what to get the three-year-old in your life? We asked a panel of tiny testers to pick their favorites.
Three-year-olds are a unique bunch. Growing more confident and independent every day, they're no longer toddlers, but not quite ready for school. With both of my own children, I've found age three to be a fun yet challenging time. My youngest is three and insists on doing everything herself, despite not quite having the skills yet—which often leads to tantrums. She's forming new friendships and is full of curiosity, delivering extremely detailed accounts of the tadpoles in her classroom.
Three-year-olds are into just about everything, with the confidence of someone much older—especially when it comes to anything you've put out of reach (my three-year-old just unwrapped several presents that weren't for her). But too many choices can be overwhelming.
