Actress Tori Spelling and four of her children were hospitalized after a serious car crash in Southern California earlier this week.
The incident occurred on April 2 in Temecula, California, when Spelling was driving with four of her children and three of their friends. According to law enforcement reports, another driver allegedly ran a red light and collided with their vehicle.
"Deputies were dispatched to a crash in Temecula, Calif. at around 5:45 p.m. where they arrived to find two damaged vehicles," confirmed the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
All eight occupants—including the 52-year-old actress and the seven passengers—were transported to the hospital in three separate ambulances. They received treatment for various injuries including concussions, contusions, cuts, and bruises.
Spelling shares five children with ex-husband Dean McDermott: Liam (19), Stella (17), Hattie (14), Finn (13), and Beau (9). Four of the children were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
While those involved were evaluated at the scene, no arrests were made, and the collision remains under investigation by authorities.
This isn't the first frightening car incident Spelling has experienced with her family. In 2011, while pregnant with her third child, she crashed into a school wall while being pursued by paparazzi. At the time, she expressed frustration about the dangerous situation, tweeting: "Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school."
Following that earlier incident, Spelling noted that the photographer continued trying to take pictures even after the crash, prompting her to ask: "Wht will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop?"
The family is currently recovering from their injuries following this latest accident.
