Tori Spelling Embraces 'Power Era' Over Dating After Divorce

Tori Spelling is prioritizing personal growth over romance following her split from Dean McDermott. The actress, known for her role on Beverly Hills 90210, has declared she's not interested in dating as she focuses on what she calls her "second chapter."

In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Spelling explained her current mindset: "I am not thinking about dating. I am in my power era and I'm rebuilding and reinventing and taking it to the next level." The 52-year-old emphasized her professional ambitions, stating, "I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm back. This is my second chapter.' I have so many businesses that I want to build, my empire, and I can date later. That can always come."

Spelling and McDermott ended their 17-year marriage in 2023, finalizing their divorce last November. Despite the separation, they've maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship for their five children: Liam (19), Stella (17), Hattie (14), Finn (13), and Beau (9).

"We do family dinners, we do everything together," Spelling told People in December. "So it's really good for the kids."

The misSPELLING podcast host expressed gratitude for their amicable arrangement, contrasting it with more contentious celebrity divorces. "I watched families go through horror stories with the parents, and at the end of the day, you created beings because you had so much love between you," she shared. "We love and care about each other so much, and I was shocked because I always read horror stories and everyone predicted it to be so messy, the divorce, and it was super easy and loving."

Spelling's approach reflects a growing trend of celebrities prioritizing personal development and family harmony over immediate romantic pursuits after high-profile separations.
