Trump Calls WHCD Suspect 'Very Troubled' After Manifesto Surfaces

President Donald Trump has spoken out about Cole Allen, the 31-year-old suspect in the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, after reports emerged of an alleged manifesto authored by Allen.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump described Allen as "a sick guy" and "very troubled," saying the writings indicate Allen "hates Christians."

The White House confirmed to TMZ that Allen's brother contacted New London Police in Connecticut after receiving the manifesto minutes before the incident. The document was turned over to investigators. Additionally, the Secret Service and Montgomery County Police interviewed the suspect's sister at her home in Rockville, Maryland.

Allen was taken into custody Saturday night after he allegedly opened fire at the dinner. No serious injuries were reported. Authorities are continuing to investigate the motive behind the attack.
