Trump Claims North Korean Leader Used Derogatory Term for Biden in Private Remarks

Former President Donald Trump has made a controversial claim about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's private assessment of President Joe Biden, alleging that Kim used a derogatory term to describe the current U.S. president.

During a press conference on Monday, Trump reflected on his relationship with the North Korean leader, stating they get along "very well." While Trump said Kim Jong Un says "very nice things" about him, he claimed the North Korean leader had harsher words for Biden.

"He used to call Joe Biden a 'mentally r*****ed person,' okay? So don't tell me about your stuff," Trump told reporters, repeating the alleged comment a second time during the exchange.

Trump added, "He was so nasty to Joe Biden. It was terrible. But to me, he likes Trump."

The former president suggested that the relatively calm relationship between the U.S. and North Korea during his administration stemmed from Kim Jong Un's personal affinity for him. The remarks come as Trump continues to position himself as having unique diplomatic relationships with world leaders that he claims benefit U.S. interests.

No independent verification of Trump's claim about Kim Jong Un's alleged comments has been provided, and the White House has not yet responded to the former president's latest remarks about international diplomacy and his successor.
