Turtle Beach’s New Stealth Pro 2 Wows as a Budget-Friendly SteelSeries Alternative

Turtle Beach has unveiled the Stealth Pro 2, a gaming headset that closely mirrors the design and features of the premium SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro — but costs $50 less. Both headsets support wireless hi-res audio, yet the real reason to upgrade isn’t the audio quality; it’s the blend of comfort, build, and smart controls at a lower price.

The Stealth Pro 2 borrows heavily from SteelSeries’ acclaimed design language, including a similar suspension headband and retractable microphone. However, Turtle Beach’s version adds its own twist with a more aggressive aesthetic and slightly different ear cup padding. Early hands-on impressions suggest the Stealth Pro 2 matches the Arctis Nova Pro in comfort and sound clarity, while undercutting it significantly on price.

Wireless hi-res audio is supported via a low-latency 2.4GHz connection and Bluetooth 5.2, allowing simultaneous mixing of game and phone audio. Battery life is estimated at 30 hours, and the headset comes with a swappable battery system. The included USB-C transmitter works across PC, PlayStation, Switch, and mobile devices.

For gamers seeking premium features without the premium price tag, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 looks like a compelling choice. It’s set to launch later this year at $299, compared to the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless at $349.
