The US military has reported that two service members participating in joint exercises in Morocco have gone missing. The search and rescue operations are currently underway in southwestern Morocco, according to a statement from US Africa Command (AFRICOM).
The missing personnel were taking part in the African Lion exercise, a major annual military training event involving US and Moroccan forces. The nature of their disappearance has not been disclosed, and authorities are working to locate them.
