Uniqlo Launches Mega Logistics Hub in Cavite, Cementing Philippines as Southeast Asian Powerhouse

Japanese fashion giant Uniqlo has officially opened its largest logistics facility in Southeast Asia, establishing a major operational hub in Cavite, Philippines. The new center, developed in partnership with Fast Retailing Philippines, marks a significant expansion of Uniqlo's regional supply chain capabilities.

Located within the Riverpark North township development, the facility was inaugurated on Friday by officials from Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG) and Fast Retailing Philippines. The project represents a strategic investment in the Philippines' growing logistics infrastructure.

"This facility is designed as a human-centric employment center that will support both operational efficiency and job generation," said FNG in a statement.

The launch coincides with GT Capital Holdings Inc.'s acquisition of a 20% stake in the property venture for ₱9.16 billion through its subsidiary Federal Land Inc., expanding the Alfred Ty-led conglomerate's real estate portfolio.

Industry analysts expect the new logistics hub to set benchmarks for operational standards in the Philippine logistics sector while strengthening Uniqlo's distribution network across Southeast Asia. The facility forms part of FNG's broader township development, following the successful sellout of the first phase of commercial lots at Riverpark North.

This expansion underscores Uniqlo's continued confidence in the Philippine market and its strategic positioning within Southeast Asia's rapidly growing retail landscape.
