Untitled push back against algorithm culture on grungy new single 'Say It Again'

LA teenage quartet Untitled have released their second single 'Say It Again', a raucous, grungy track that serves as a defiant response to the data-driven side of the music industry.

The band, who formed in a West Los Angeles garage, follow up their breakout debut 'Restless' with a slacker-rock anthem that vocalist and guitarist Danny describes as a reaction to "numbers, stats and algorithms."

'Restless' amassed over 40 million streams and 2 billion TikTok views, catapulting the group into the spotlight and attracting label interest. But the sudden success felt overwhelming.

"At the time we wrote the song, we had some built up frustrations about certain aspects of the music business, social media attention, and our inability to grasp how big the 'Restless' song actually was," Danny explains. "We just write stuff we love and it felt like our song became just numbers on a screen. It's all new to us and honestly we are more comfortable writing and playing in our garage than with numbers, stats, and algorithms."

The accompanying music video, directed by [not specified], shows the band performing in gritty bathroom settings and in front of a frenzied club audience.
