Just weeks before the NFL Draft, former Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia was spotted making it rain at a strip club in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Exclusive video obtained by TMZ Sports shows the Heisman finalist tossing a wad of cash at a dancer on stage during a visit to Knockouts Gentlemen's Club on March 8.
According to sources, Pavia arrived at the club and stayed until 5 AM, showering the stage with money throughout the night. The outing appeared to be a break from his draft preparations. However, Pavia went undrafted last weekend, becoming the first Heisman finalist to be passed over since Jordan Lynch in 2014.
Despite leading Vanderbilt to a 10-3 season and earning multiple awards, scouts reportedly had concerns about his size and character. He has since received an invitation to the Baltimore Ravens' rookie mini-camp, where he will have a chance to prove himself.
This is not Pavia's first brush with controversy. Earlier this year, he faced backlash for posting a profanity-laced rant directed at Heisman voters, for which he later apologized.
