Wales have received a major lift ahead of their upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Romania, with captain Ben Davies and right-back Connor Roberts returning from long-term injuries.
Tottenham defender Davies, 33, has been sidelined since January after sustaining a serious ankle injury that required surgery. His return to the squad marks his first involvement since that setback.
Burnley's Connor Roberts, 30, has not played competitively since injuring his groin during Wales' World Cup qualifying defeat to Belgium in June 2025. A subsequent Achilles problem ruled him out of the entire 2025-26 season. He recently played for Burnley's Under-21s and was an unused substitute in their Premier League draw with Wolves on Sunday.
Centre-back Chris Mepham also returns from injury, but midfielders Jordan James and Rubin Colwill, along with forwards Liam Cullen and Mark Harris, are absent with minor knocks.
Wales host Ghana at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, 2 June, before traveling to face Romania in Bucharest the following Saturday.
