Victor Wembanyama made a triumphant return to the court for the San Antonio Spurs, propelling them to a 114-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of their NBA play-off series.
The French sensation missed the previous game after entering concussion protocol but was cleared to play on Sunday. He delivered a dominant performance with 27 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocks, and four steals.
"I had lots of emotions before the game - excitement, frustration. I let it all out tonight," Wembanyama said after the game.
The Spurs now hold a 3-1 series lead and can clinch the best-of-seven series on Tuesday in San Antonio. De'Aaron Fox led all scorers with 28 points.
In other play-off action, the Los Angeles Lakers missed a chance to sweep as the Houston Rockets, led by Amen Thompson's 23 points, forced a Game 5. The Boston Celtics took a 3-1 lead over Philadelphia after Payton Pritchard scored a career-high 32 points off the bench. The Toronto Raptors evened their series with Cleveland at 2-2 with a narrow 93-89 victory.
