WNBA star Lexie Brown has firmly denied rumors that she is involved in the breakup between NBA player Klay Thompson and rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

In an Instagram Story posted on April 26, the Seattle Storm guard wrote, "I've seen what's being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation."

Brown, 31, emphasized her focus is on the upcoming WNBA season, which begins in early May. "This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me," she added. "My focus is fully on that."

Her statement came a day after Megan Thee Stallion publicly accused Thompson of cheating and announced their split. In a statement to E! News on April 25, the "Savage" rapper said, "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."

Megan, 31, added that she is prioritizing herself, stating, "I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

The confirmation followed a cryptic Instagram Story post from Megan, where she wrote, "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet.' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????"

Despite the emotional turmoil, Megan performed that evening in the Broadway musical Moulin Rouge!, where she was seen tearing up during the curtain call as the audience cheered in support.
