Phil Parkinson insists Wrexham will be fully prepared for their season-defining showdown with Middlesbrough after securing their goal of keeping the Championship play-off race alive until the final day.
The Red Dragons were four points adrift of the top six with four games remaining, but despite a 3-1 loss to champions Coventry City, they enter Saturday's match at Stok Cae Ras in sixth place.
"A few weeks ago we were four points adrift and the aim was to go right to the wire in the battle to get into the play-offs," said Parkinson. "With over 45 games gone, we've achieved that. We're all set for next week."
With one match left in the regular season, Wrexham sit level on points with seventh-placed Hull City but ahead on goal difference, and one point clear of eighth-placed Derby County.
Ollie Rathbone, who scored his eighth goal of the campaign in the loss at Coventry, said the disappointment at losing to the champions highlights how far the team has come.
"At the start of the season, everyone would have taken this scenario," Rathbone said. "It shows how much the team has evolved that we've come to the best team in the division and we're disappointed that we've not taken anything away."
Middlesbrough have already secured a play-off spot but could still push for automatic promotion depending on Tuesday's result between Southampton and Ipswich Town. Rathbone, however, stressed the need to focus only on winning.
"There's so many permutations where you're looking at other results. They're intense," he added. "I think you've just got to try and be as calm as possible, play the game as you would normally and hope you've done enough."
Kick-off on Saturday, 2 May at 12:30 BST.
