WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre is facing a devastating personal loss outside the ring. The former World Champion and his wife, Kaitlyn Frohnapfel, recently announced the heartbreaking passing of their beloved pet cat, Chaz.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, McIntyre shared a touching slideshow of memories featuring himself, his wife, and their furry friend. He honored his longtime feline companion with a simple yet powerful tribute.

"You were once in a lifetime, Chaz," McIntyre wrote.

The wrestling community quickly rallied around the "Scottish Warrior," flooding his comment section with condolences and support. Fellow WWE superstar Natalya was among those offering her sympathies, commenting, "Chaz was such a beautiful cat! Sending love your way!!!!"

Fans of McIntyre may already be familiar with Chaz's incredible fighting spirit. Last year, the 40-year-old wrestler posted a TikTok video revealing that the cat had been battling chronic liver disease. At the time, McIntyre noted that they had nearly lost Chaz around a previous WrestleMania, but the tough pet continually defied the medical odds.

"Since then, he keeps kicking out," McIntyre proudly stated in the past video. "Like daddy, you don't stop, you don't give up, you don't take any s***."

Despite the heavy emotional toll of losing a beloved family member, McIntyre is expected to press forward with his WWE commitments. He remains scheduled to appear on this week's Friday Night SmackDown in St. Louis. The sad news comes just weeks before he is set to clash with Jacob Fatu in a highly anticipated Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
