The long-awaited Xreal and Google Aura XR glasses are now available for preorder, with a $99 deposit securing your spot for the device expected to launch this fall.
The glasses, which run on Google's Android XR platform, represent a major step forward in consumer augmented reality. While the final price remains unannounced, the reservation scheme allows early adopters to be among the first to receive them when they ship.
"We're excited to bring this experience to users," said a spokesperson for Xreal. "The combination of our hardware expertise with Google's software creates a seamless mixed reality experience."
As the second Android XR device to hit the market, the Aura glasses aim to compete with offerings from Meta and Apple, focusing on lightweight design and everyday usability.
