YouTube's Mobile App Now Allows Timestamped Video Sharing

YouTube has rolled out a new feature for its mobile app, enabling users to share videos starting at specific timestamps. This update simplifies the process of directing others to exact moments within lengthy content.

Previously, sharing a video from a particular point required manual timestamp addition to the URL. The new functionality automates this, allowing users to select a moment during playback and generate a shareable link that begins at that exact time.

This enhancement is expected to improve user experience, especially for educational content, tutorials, and entertainment where specific segments are most relevant. The feature is now available on both iOS and Android versions of the YouTube app.
