The Bringing Up Bates family is growing once again. Zach and Whitney Bates announced the arrival of their sixth child, a baby girl, on April 27. The couple shared a video of the delivery on Instagram, capturing the emotional moment.
Zach, the eldest of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates' 19 children, was actively involved in the birth, assisting his wife as she went into labor. Whitney praised him, saying, "You're so cute," while Zach encouraged her to "Keep going."
Whitney described the experience as "one of the sweetest birth experiences I've had, filled with moments that I will relive a million times." She added, "Nothing in this world compares to that first moment holding your new baby... This has been one of the most precious, overwhelming and unforgettable experiences of my births, every single time."
The couple, who have been married for 11 years, are also parents to Bradley (11), Kaci (9), Khloé (6), Jadon (4), and Lily (2). They announced they were expecting baby No. 6 in September, sharing the news with their older children helping out.
Zach isn't the only sibling expanding his family. His younger sister Josie Bates and her husband Kelton Balka welcomed their fourth child, a son named Brooks, in December.
