Apple's iPhone revenue surged 22% to $57 billion in the second quarter of 2026, overcoming persistent chip shortages that have plagued the industry. The strong performance was bolstered by the launch of the MacBook Neo, which also drove overall revenue to $111.2 billion — the company's best March quarter ever.

CEO Tim Cook, in an interview with Reuters, described iPhone demand as "off the charts," but acknowledged that supply chain constraints limited flexibility for obtaining additional components. He warned that Mac supply could also face pressure due to sustained high demand.

Despite these challenges, Apple's services segment continued to grow, contributing to the record quarterly results. The company's resilience amid global chip shortages underscores its strong brand loyalty and product ecosystem.
