An automated security system has flagged unusual traffic patterns from a specific computer network attempting to access a YouTube movie clip, triggering a temporary block and a CAPTCHA verification requirement.

The incident occurred when a user attempted to view a clip from the film "Three Words to Forever," featuring characters Rick and Cristy. Google's automated detection systems identified requests from the IP address 2600:1900:0:2102::400 as potentially violating Terms of Service, displaying a security page instead of the requested content.

According to the security notice displayed, "This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot." The system suggested the unusual traffic might originate from "malicious software, a browser plug-in, or a script that sends automated requests."

Security experts note that such blocks typically expire shortly after the unusual requests cease. Users encountering similar blocks are advised to solve the CAPTCHA verification to restore normal access to online services.

The incident highlights the ongoing challenge of distinguishing between legitimate human users and automated bots in today's digital landscape, particularly when accessing popular content platforms.
