Lindsay Hubbard has revealed her surprising perspective on the recent romantic turmoil involving her Summer House costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson.
In an exclusive interview with E! News at The Daily Front Row's Fashion L.A. Awards, the reality star admitted she was just as surprised as viewers when the couple confirmed their relationship two weeks ago. "I learned about all of it as you guys are learning about it," Hubbard shared, "and it's all very shocking. As the days go on, I'm still shocked every day."
The confirmation proved particularly controversial given West's previous relationship with Amanda's close friend Ciara Miller, creating what fans have dubbed a "love triangle drama" that has dominated Bravo discussions.
Despite the controversy, Hubbard pointed to an unexpected silver lining: her recent collaboration with ex-fiancé Carl Radke for an advertisement that playfully referenced their housemates' situation.
"If we can bring a little light and positivity in some weird, seemingly dark times, I'm here for it—and that was the point," Hubbard explained. "I would like to put a smile on people's faces in the most unexpected ways."
The former publicist, who previously revealed she unblocked Radke specifically for the project, emphasized finding humor and connection amid the drama.
Hubbard also hinted that more details about Amanda and West's evolving relationship may surface in their upcoming Bravo spinoff In the City, which premieres May 19.
"In the City is more about our everyday lives where you're getting a real, hard look at what we go through in the city in that next chapter of our lives," she described. "Some people are married, some people have kids and some people are trying to figure out some really important big, life, adult decisions. We're being adults now for the first time."
The spinoff also features Amanda's estranged husband Kyle Cooke, adding another layer to the complex interpersonal dynamics that have captivated Summer House audiences.
Amanda and West acknowledged the sensitive nature of their relationship in a joint March statement, noting: "What's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
