David Isaacman and Abbey Romeo, the cherished couple from Netflix's Love on the Spectrum, have ended their relationship after five years together, multiple sources confirm.

The pair, who first connected on the show's debut season in 2022, were last seen together on-screen during the fourth season, which aired episodes in early April. In those episodes, the couple traveled to Florida to celebrate the engagement of their co-stars, Madison Marilla and Tyler White.

That joyful occasion sparked reflections for Abbey about her own future with David. "I'm so happy for them," she told David during the episode. "Hopefully we're next."

David responded warmly, saying, "Yes, we can only be engaged whenever the time is right. Besides, I love you to infinity and beyond."

In a recent interview, Abbey shared some of the tender moments that defined their bond. "He says things that make me feel good," she explained. "He covers my ears when there's a certain noise I don't like, for sensory reasons."

She also highlighted their shared passions, noting their mutual love for Disney classics like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, as well as their similar tastes in food. "We're both carby people," Abbey said with a laugh, listing burgers, fries, pizza, and spaghetti as favorite staples.

Abbey's mother, Christine Romeo, offered insight into the deeper connection between the two. "David has an incredible family," she observed. "They're just generous, kind, nice people. And David has all of those qualities."

Christine also emphasized the unique nature of their relationship, adding, "These are two people with autism, so whatever their relationship looks like is going to be what they decide."

The split marks the end of a chapter for one of the show's most followed and beloved couples, whose journey from first meeting to a five-year relationship was documented for audiences worldwide.
