The Duchess of Sussex is set to spice up Australian television screens with a surprise appearance on the upcoming season of MasterChef Australia. Meghan Markle filmed her guest judging segment in Melbourne on Wednesday, according to broadcaster Network Ten, with the episode scheduled to air on April 19.
This culinary cameo comes as Meghan and Prince Harry are midway through a four-day private visit to Australia—their first trip to the country since 2018. The couple, who are no longer working royals, are traveling in a personal capacity, blending charitable engagements with select public events.

Her MasterChef appearance follows the launch of her own lifestyle and cookery series, With Love, Meghan, which showcases her passion for food and hosting. Industry observers note that Australia is emerging as a potential market for Meghan's As Ever lifestyle brand, which was highlighted in her Netflix documentary. Last year, trademarks for the brand were registered in 12 product categories in Australia.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry has kept a busy schedule of his own. On Wednesday, he joined players from an Australian Rules football team for a training session and paid a visit to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Later this week, he is slated to deliver a keynote speech at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit in Melbourne, with ticket proceeds benefiting the charity Lifeline.
The couple's itinerary also includes a women's-only weekend retreat in Sydney on Saturday, where Meghan will host an "in-person conversation." Attendance packages for the event offer VIP experiences, including group photographs with the Duchess.
Earlier in the week, the pair visited the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, drawing crowds eager to see them, and Meghan personally served meals at a women's refuge center. Their tour continues with additional engagements in Melbourne before they head to Sydney, marking a visit that intertwines philanthropy, business ventures, and a dash of reality TV glamour.
